Principles of Fire Safety

Overview

All workplaces have a legal obligation to ensure that their environment is safe when it comes to fire risks. Ensuring your team have the required knowledge and understanding with regards to fire safety is essential. This course is for anyone involved in the management of fire safety, who are based in an area where fire is a risk. It covers the causes of fire, common hazards, fire risk assessments and how to reduce the likelihood of fires. Fire Marshal training may also be delivered alongside this course.

Assessment

  • Multiple choice exam.

Duration

1 day. The next course will run on Wed 6th November 2024.

Certification

Highfield Level 2 Award in the Principles of Fire Safety.

Cost

£125 plus VAT (includes lunch and refreshments).

Venue

NLTG’s Vocational Centres of Excellence or other venues across the North West. Numbers permitting, this course can be delivered on company premises
