Managing for Success OverviewNLTG’s ‘Managing for Success’ series will develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours required for modern management and leadership. Looking at three critical themes – managing self, others and work performance – the series explores a range of strategies and concepts designed to develop effective and high performing individuals, teams and workplace environments. ContentProviding an insight into modern theories and management techniques, the course will: look at self-management concepts to enhance productivity, resilience and decision-making, from management and leadership styles to emotional intelligence and wellbeing. explore effective techniques for leading and motivating teams, and fostering collaboration. equip individuals with the tools to manage work performance efficiently. The course comprises six parts, each of which may be studied separately, or may be studied as a full management suite. Part 1: The Role of the Manager Leader. Part 2: Key Management Skills/Personal Development. Part 3: Creating/Building an Effective Team. Part 4: Managing an Effective Team. Part 5: Organisational Culture, Planning and Finance. Part 6: Managing Change, Team Building, The Big Exercise. DurationIndividual parts of the series will run over 2 consecutive days. The full series will run over 12 days in total.
