Due to our continued success, we are looking to add to our first-class team and appoint an IT Technical Support Apprentice.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a top-quality Training Provider with a proven track record in the Training and Development sector.

The successful applicant will be working as part of the IT Services Team providing support to staff and learners with the use of the equipment and systems, as well as creating and maintaining system accounts.

Key duties include:

  • Learning to set up computer equipment to use all applications quickly and without errors.
  • Helping with handing out computer equipment such as desktops, laptops and mobile phones to learners and staff.
  • Helping with checking applications are up to date and secure and learn how to make changes to the applications as needed.
  • Helping to keep our asset list of computer desktops, laptops and mobile phones accurate and up to date.
  • Learning how to give support for learners and staff when they report issues and problems with their applications or computers.
  • Learning what cloud computing is and how to create and support learners, staff and their computers in the cloud.
  • Developing understanding of Information Technology and keep up to date as new technologies become available.
  • Helping to keep our administration systems such as job logs and ticket systems up to date.
  • Developing strong customer service skills to make sure we are providing the best service to learners and staff.

The above position will be filled by an individual who is professional, motivated and will fit into our first-class team. This is an opportunity for the right person, with the right skills, to play a key role in the development and support of both learners and staff members. NLTG operate throughout the North West of England and other geographical areas so a driving licence is essential.
