Work Experience Case Study
Samed Shah Aged 17 Broadfield Specialist School – Year 12 student
Samed has been on work experience with NLTG for 5 weeks doing all sorts of office based activities learning all about the world of work. Samed is currently a Year 12 student at Broadfield Specialist School in Oswaldtwistle. He enjoys a variety of subjects at school but his favourite are Maths, English and IT.
Whilst on Work experience at NLTG Samed has enjoyed doing a variety of office based tasks. These range from preparing learner files by writing on dividers to photocopying and general paperwork. Samed says his favourite part of the week was the photocopying because it was a little more challenging and helped him learn the most.
Samed has enjoyed his time at NLTG (even more than being at school dare I say) because it has helped him prepare for what he wants to do in the future which is run his own office ordering all sorts of different equipment and products.
