Our annual Presentation event celebrating the success of the two Outward Bound courses for 2015 was held at the Old Bakery on July 6th.
Students from the Study Programme, Broadfield Specialist School and our NLTG’s own apprentices from Admin Support, Recruitment, Study Programmes Fleetwood, Preston and Accrington attended and gave presentations in words, pictures and, for the first time, music on their accomplishments during the weeks activities in which were held in May 2015.
Several of the students have gone on to secure apprenticeships through NLTG and spoke of how the course helped them to achieve this goal by increasing their confidence and giving them a “can do” attitude.
Jim also presented flowers to Mrs Angela Banner from Broadfield, who is due to retire at the end of term after a successful time as Head teacher at the school. They were recently achieved an “outstanding” grade from Ofsted inspectors and have retained the Specialist School of the Year award from the Lancashire Telegraph.
