Job Centre Learner of the Year 2024 – Brad Hilton

We are thrilled to announce that Brad Hilton is the winner of NLTG’s 2024 Job Centre Learner of the Year Award… congratulations Brad!

It has been a real pleasure to watch Brad grow and develop from being a very shy individual, to securing employment right here with us at NLTG.

Brad completed three qualifications – Business Admin, Customer Service and Employability – whilst studying on programmes at NLTG, and he has since accomplished various short courses to assist him in his new role.

It has been a real pleasure to be part of his story and after taking part in a six-week work trial with us, Brad has gained part-time employment, three days a week. He has become a very popular member of the team, and his story is a great inspiration for anyone looking to get into work and improve their employability skills.

A member of NLTG’s JCP team, said:

“Brad has shown perseverance and the correct attitude to learning. It was obvious that Brad was a very shy young man, who had little to no work experience and did not know how to gain sustained employment.

He progressively gained confidence while studying his first course at NLTG and did not accept ‘just enough will do’.

On progressing to other courses, Brad became an integral part of these, gaining more confidence in his own abilities, which included supporting others in the class.”

Well done Brad, we are excited to see your career progress here at NLTG!
