Come join us at Accrington Food & Drink Festival.
When: Saturday 1 June 2024. 10:00am – 4:00pm. Admission: Free
Excitement is building for the return of the Accrington Food & Drink Festival on Saturday, June 1st, where NLTG will once again return to this amazing event.
We have been involved in many of the food festivals as a main sponsor and couldn’t wait to get involved with the event again this year! There are so many great activities lined up throughout the day, all around Accrington town centre.
We’ll be organising cake decorating for the children and we’ll be running a competition to win a fantastic food hamper worth £50. Don’t forget to pick up one of our goodie bags too! Our staff will also be on hand to answer any questions about NLTG Apprenticeships, pre-Apprenticeships, courses for adults and courses for businesses.
From 10 am to 4pm, the Food Festival will feature a star-studded main cooking demonstration including demonstrations by TV and Michelin Star chef Glynn Purnell, Netflix’s Molly Robbins, who returns to compete on the main stage, and local chef Paul Fox, owner of The Crafty Fox in Accrington.
As part of the wider activities, the Food Festival will coincide with the 80th anniversary of D-Day, headlined by a war re-enactment at 1pm in the grounds of St. James’ Church, which will feature a performance from the “Mad Piper” and a lone piper from the Accrington Pipe Band. A new addition to the Accrington Food Festival will be a free Spitfire Simulator Experience, which will be too good to miss.
