With twenty years in optical industry before setting up DSW Optical, the founder has always believed passionately in the need for independent opticians and suppliers in the marketplace, they offer a service to their customers and patients that cannot be achieved when decisions are outsourced away from the clinic. Our team know that high quality service and innovation are needed to support the opticians that work with us and do all possible to do this.

As a Manufacturing Apprentice at DSW Optical, you will learn and perform various tasks essential to the production process. This apprenticeship program is designed to provide you with the skills and experience necessary to pursue a career in manufacturing.
• Machine Operation: Learn to operate different types of machinery and equipment used in the optical laboratory.
• Quality Control: Understand and implement quality control measures to ensure products meet specified standards.
• Safety Practices: Follow and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including machine logs and quality reports.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
