We produce thousands of different parts for various sectors, including restaurant fixtures and fittings, manufacturing guards for one of the worlds largest companies in label and digital printing machines and supplying high-quality components to a leading name in the caravan industry.

Birch Sheet Metal (BSM) has 3 key staff on the shop floor which are overseen by the Company Director, each of the staff have specific roles working together in each department.

The apprentice role will involve working alongside the team to learn and understand the manufacturing process.

Our apprentice will have the opportunity to find where their strengths lie in this environment working in all aspects of manufacturing which include:
• Understanding engineering drawings
• Pressbrake operator
• CNC punch operator
• Welding and finishing
• Lean management
