Description

Position Overview:
As a Cabinet Vision Designer and Optimisation Specialist Apprentice, you will embark on a comprehensive learning journey, starting with a furniture making apprenticeship. This role is designed for individuals with a keen interest in both cabinetry and computing, providing a unique opportunity to combine hands-on production experience with advanced design and optimisation skills.

First 12 Months:

• Shop Floor Training.
• Assemble cabinets alongside the assembly team, working from Factory Orders and cabinet lists.
• Pick components and learn about the various items and materials used in our products.
• Gain practical experience with CNC machines, understanding tooling and drilling patterns.
• Develop a thorough understanding of our production processes and techniques.

Design and Optimisation Phase:

• Cabinet Vision Training.
• Learn to use Cabinet Vision software to design and optimise cabinet work.
• Work closely with the production manager to ensure you acquire the necessary skills for effective design and optimisation.
• Apply your production knowledge to enhance design accuracy and efficiency.

Typical Day:

• Collaborate with the assembly team to build cabinets according to specifications.
• Engage in hands-on training with CNC machinery and other tools.
• Participate in design sessions, gradually taking on more responsibilities in Cabinet Vision.
• Work with the production manager to align your training with company goals and projects.
