The Business Bank Do you want to be part of it? | THE BUSINESS BANK At NLTG, we deliver two exciting Pre-Apprenticeship Study Programmes for young people aged 16-18. As part of these programmes, students are required to undertake a work experience placement to help develop their employability skills and introduce them to the world of work. We are building a bank of local businesses that surround our Accrington, Bury and Oldham Centres who can offer young people the perfect work experience placement as part of their studies. Do you want to be part of it? We are asking local businesses to support local young people aged 16-18 develop their employability skills, by offering them a valuable work experience placement and the opportunity to gain an insight into how your industry works. Work experience placements are flexible. They can be used to get that extra helping hand with a range of tasks in almost any industry. The length and duration can be set to fit in around your schedule and needs and can consist of up to 3 days per week for up to 20 weeks. Young and enthusiastic students are ready to help you. Are you able to help them? | WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS? All placements are fully funded as part of the student’s learning so there is no cost to you. Students are paid a bursary allowance from ourselves so there is no obligation for you to pay any wages. Raise your business profile and give something back to the community by offering local young people the help and experience they need to get into the world of work.
