Sykes Cottages have been letting holiday cottages for over 25 years and in that time, their business has moved from the kitchen table to become the UK’s leading independent agency. The business has grown significantly over the years, but their commitment to giving holiday makers an extensive range of great quality cottages at value-for-money prices remains unchanged. Their unrivalled customer service brings holiday makers back time and time again with over 200,000 holidays booked each year.
Sykes Holiday Cottages decided to run a junior management training course and chose to work with North Lancs Training Group. We launched our Aspire Management programme in conjunction with NLTG with 13 cohorts going through an 18 month programme. The course included a mixture of group sessions and individual 1:1's and Claire and the tutor team worked hard to ensure that the team received the best possible experience from their learning. Tutors adapted learning to the varying needs of individuals and added further input as required. Cohorts benefited from the theoretical knowledge gained, as well as the ability to interact with their peers and this has enhanced our teams and supported our company values. North Lancs Training Group have been flexible to the needs of our business during the programme and I would have no hesitation in recommending the team at North Lancs Training Group to any potential company looking to use their skills for training and development.
