Rothwell and Thomas Established in 1983 Rothwell and Thomas Company HistoryEstablished in 1983, Rothwell and Thomas were formed by Tom Shaughnessy and Fred Rothwell. Fred’s son Michael Rothwell joined from school in 1984. Simon Duddridge joined the business in 1998. The business has been manufacturing fitted and bespoke furniture with a strong long-standing team of valued employees. Fred Rothwell retired in 1998 and Tom, although remains the figure head and Managing Director is semi-retired and leaves the day to day running of the business to the other directors Mike and Simon. We offer a simple cohesive service. We are happy to work alongside architects, builders, interior designers & tradesmen to enable the projects to run smoothly. All our furniture is produced in our UK on site workshop. We can produce your furniture in an extensive range of hard-wearing laminates, hand painted finishes and polished wood veneers. All our bespoke furniture is manufactured on our premises by our own time served cabinet makers and polishers so that we have complete control over the finished products.
