Course Overview

Warehouse Operative Supervisors are found across a range of different types of organisations and employers such as hauliers, storage and warehouse operators, couriers, retailers and utilities. The broad purpose of a Warehouse Operations Supervisor is to manage the day to day operations involved in supply chain, ensuring activity, personnel and/or vehicles meet customer expectations along with regulatory and legal requirements.

In your daily work, you will interact with a range of stakeholders across a number of organisations and professions. You will lead a team which could vary in size depending on the organisation and have regular engagement with external customers. In larger organisations you would have regular communication with internal functions such as Accounts and HR. In smaller organisations you may carry out some of the everyday tasks accounting and human resource activities.

As a Warehouse Operations Supervisor, you will have to keep up to date with regulations and legislation as well as having an awareness of best practice warehousing operations to ensure compliant, secure and safe working within the organisations policy and procedures.

Course Duration

Up to 19 months (ie a practical training period of 16 months, followed by an End Point Assessment (EPA) period of up to 3 months).

Entry Requirements

You will have to take a Skills Scan to ensure your current level of maths and English is at the required level.
