Funding Apprenticeships are funded by the Government/European Social Fund (ESF), and/or your employer depending on the size of employer you work for and your age. Eligibility To study an Apprenticeship, you must: have legally left school; there is no upper age limit to studying an Apprenticeship. spend at least 50% of your working hours in England over the duration of the Apprenticeship, including time spent on off-the-job training. Travel Support As an apprentice, and depending upon your age and where you live, support with your commute to work via public transport or ‘Bike to Work’ schemes may be available.
