Funding Apprenticeships are funded by the Government/European Social Fund (ESF), and/or your employer depending on the size of employer you work for and your age. Eligibility To study an Apprenticeship, you must: have legally left school; there is no upper age limit to studying an Apprenticeship. spend at least 50% of your working hours in England over the duration of the Apprenticeship, including time spent on off-the-job training.
