Description

The apprentice will be undertaking various fabrication activities, such as cutting, welding and cleaning using various handheld tools and automated machinery.

• Identify and confirm fabrication requirement against instructions, diagrams and specifications.
• Manufacture products using relevant methods, machinery and technology
• Measure, mark, cut, drill and prepare various materials.
• Use various fabrication equipment.
• Assemble products using methods such as crimping, sawing, welding, machining, bending and beading.
• Check and inspect products, equipment and machinery for damage/imperfections and rectify defects/errors.
• Clean and finish products using appropriate materials/chemicals and ensure product functioning.
